I think we can all agree any time is a good time to teach children about money … and how saving it can be a lot of fun!
If your organization is a bank or credit union, you may be interested in some of the items we have for kids. We have a new Coloring Book category, and there you will find coloring books which are about money, or visiting the bank or credit union.
We have a new little Piggy Bank on sale through the end of June, as well as some colorful Coin Purses. But anything can be a reward or incentive for kids to save, so visit our Not Just for Kids category where there are jump ropes, banks, kick balls, crayons, flyers, and pencils!

All Aboard for 2010

Happy New Year to our customer, The Grand Traverse Heritage Center, which is holding its ever-popular Festival of Trains through January 3rd! Lori, the Executive Director, was kind enough to send us this photo of our Oliver Specialties billboard.
As the new year begins, we are adding new promotional items to our website daily, and offering lower minimums and lower prices (and keeping prices the same) on most!

Walking the Dog

We have lots of pet lovers in our town! Within six blocks downtown, there is a dog groomer, a dog bakery, and a dog accessory store. Our bank places a huge water bowl outside their entry in the summer, as do two or three other retail establishments. The bank offers dog biscuits at its drive-up window, and a local party store passes out “biskies” to whomever stops in with their doggie.
Pet Insurance is now offered by many financial institutions, and many businesses are sponsors of local humane society or pet rescue fundraisers.

Useful Products for Effective Advertising

The ad specialties business was recently featured on the MSNBC show “Your Business” with host J.J. Ramburg. Rich Fairfield of ASI discussed how “trade shows are a great way to get the word out about your business, and premium giveaways that ‘go beyond the pen’ are a sure bet for maximum marketing exposure.”
A couple of the items featured were our H143 Hand Sanitizer and our N109 and N110 Non-Woven Tote Bag.
Hand sanitizers are so important these days, for everyone, all ages! Ours are natural sanitizers (no alcohol … so safe for children), and USA made. This item would be great for medical professionals, schools and universities, PTA groups, child care services, senior groups and services, travel groups … everyone! On sale through the end of the year!
The N110 Poly Pro Gusseted Tote is also on sale through the end of the year. When we gave them out at our Business Expo in bright blue and bright green, everyone came looking for us, including the anchor for our local TV station, who interviewed us for that evening’s 10 o’clock news! The host of the “Your Business” Show repeated a couple of times that she liked the items which were “useful.” We think our slogan (for over 50 years) tells the story: Useful Products for Effective Advertising!
