Green Means So Many Things

February 17, 2011

March is just around the corner, the snow is melting in Michigan, and we've had two days of temps in the mid-40s!  Who cares that winter returns this weekend?  We are over the hump!

March means Mardi Gras, Daylight Savings Time, St. Patrick's Day, and Spring ... the appearance of green grass, croci, and buds on trees ... and the onset of spring promotions.

It is a good time to promote your business or organization with a custom-imprinted item which will be used and appreciated by everyone!

Some things to consider?

The Sausalito Mug is a colorful mug which will brighten anyone's breakfast table or desk.  The Barrister Umbrella is perfect for rainy spring days and is on sale in a minimum of 12 and no set-up charge!  This would be a great gift for volunteers during National Volunteer Week in April, and National Nurses Week in May!

New this year is the little Flower Pot  with your choice of Forget-Me-Nots, Chives, Basil, or Parsley ... just add water!  Seed Packets are fun for young and old alike, for Earth Day and any day, and is a category unto itself!  Earth

Teaching Kids to Save and National Credit Union Youth Week are in April ... see our coloring books and banks and other things under Not Just for Kids.

Mardi Gras and St. Patrick's Day

January 10, 2011

I love these!  Beads with round medallions, or a shaped medallion (shamrock, heart, awareness ribbon, star) will get everyone into the spirit of your next promotion, community event (e.g., company sponsored fun runs), or holiday celebration!

The Shamrock Medallion is in green (of course!) with 33" green bead necklace.  The Round Medallion is in White, Gold, Purple, Red, Silver, Orange, Green, Black, Turquoise, Fuchsia, or Navy Blue with matching or contrasting beads.  Or, order an assortment of Gold, Green, Purple, Silver, Turquoise, and Fuchsia beads!

Mardi Gras is March 8th this year and St. Patrick's Day is March 17th.   Production of the imprinted medallions is ten working days, but include time for shipping!

Would you like Mardi Gras beads (purple, green, and gold) without the medallion to pass out to employees and customers?  A package of 144 Mardi Gras Assortment beads is $25.88 plus shipping.

And St. Patrick's Day?  A package of 144 Kelly Green beads with a Kelly Green puff shamrock bead on the end is $62.50 plus shipping!

Order early!

Dang it, we forgot the bags!

December 30, 2010

It is usually said by my husband just as we get out of the car in the parking lot of the grocery store.  We couldn't figure out, for the longest time, how to remember the grocery totes neatly stacked on a shelf by the back door (and which are hidden the minute we open the door to go out!).  Then there are the times I go to the store directly from work.

And then it hit me.  I took my four bags to the store:  one from Interlochen Public Radio, one from Mary's Kitchen Port, one from The Cherry Hut, and one from Burritt's Market.  I received my $.20 deduction from the cashier for using my grocery totes instead of paper ($.05 each).  I always have one or two items too big for a bag, like a 12-pack of pop, or a big jug of laundry detergent ... always.

When I got home, I took out of the car only the four bags, leaving the larger items in the car until I unloaded the bags.  Then took the four bags back out to the car when I retrieved the larger items.

Maybe you don't have this problem, but in case you do!

Pass Them Out

December 01, 2010

I notice that customers who order pens sometimes keep them hidden away in a drawer.  Sure, you can have one if you look around, fumble in your pocket, pat down your jacket or shirt looking for one!

Pens with your name, phone, fax, website, and tagline are the best way to get your business noticed.

We suggest handing them out by twos when stopping in to see someone, or by the handfuls.  Leave a couple on the table in a restaurant.  See the cash register in the store, dry cleaners?  Leave a bunch there for patrons to use when signing their credit card slip (people always look at what is imprinted on the pen).   Carry a box of your pens in your car so wherever you go, there is an opportunity for someone to get to know you.

Pens are inexpensive, and everyone uses them!  Pass them out!

This is the time of year for festivals, business expos, tradeshows, school functions and fundraisers, holiday parties, annual meetings and ... most important ... the occasion to thank your customers for business this past year! Please take a look at our recently updated Quarterly Specials. There are 90 items at end-quantity or below end-quantity prices! What's popular? See the Insulated Ceramic Travel Mug! The minimum is only 36 and each is individually packaged in an eco friendly box. A real beauty is the Westminster Mug in stunning colors! It holds 17 oz. for coffee on cold winter days and extra hot chocolate! We can't say enough about bags! Everyone is familiar with the Grocery Tote, but everyone is talking about the Insulated Grocery Tote. It is 12" x 16" x 10" and has a front pocket and it zips closed. Perfect for day trips, and for bringing home tonight's dinner!

Seems Like Just Yesterday!

Summer hasn't even arrived and we are already talking about calendars! Why? Well, calendar companies cannot possibly print everyone's calendar order in October or November (what would they do the rest of the year?)! So we encourage you to order early and take advantage of early bird prices through July 1st. Calendars are printed over the summer months and stored for shipment when you need them (in October, November, and December). Take a look are our calendar selection, and let us know if there is something else you'd like to see. We have wall calendars, pocket appointment calendars, desk calendars, adhesive, card, commercial, utility, computer strip ... and themes of every description!

Give me an 'S'

April 14, 2010

Summer is almost here and this means golf, beach, travel, festivals, community events, fun runs, and anything outdoors! Traveling? See the Grip It Luggage ID and the Clear Airline Carryon. Golf? We have a category for golf items, many of which are on sale. Water bottles, t-shirts, can holders, coolers, tote bags, flyers (see the Fold Up Flyer), and flashlights for the campground are appreciated by everyone, and the imprint area is large enough to really showcase your business! Other things to consider? Our new Wine Totes, wine glasses, ice cream scoops and barbeque basting brushes!
